Booking Deposit, Postponement And Cancellation Policy:

We do understand that from time to time things change and you may need to reschedule or cancel your reservation. Please read our deposit, postponement, and cancellation policy below.

 

COVID-19

In response to changing travel restrictions, we’re offering flexible cancellation terms for stays at Beach Cabins Merimbula up to December 17, 2020 (inclusive). No matter the terms on your booked rate, we are waiving fees and offering a credit or refund for bookings cancelled 7 days prior to your arrival. For any bookings cancelled within these timeframes, normal cancellation terms will apply.

 

Deposits:

Reservations are not secured until a Deposit is receipted. Full payment of reservations is required on arrival. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Direct Deposits.

Low and Mid Seasons (including July / September School Holidays and Long weekends)

30% Deposit to be paid on day of booking, balance of payment due on arrival

Peak: December / January / Easter School Holidays and Group Bookings

30% Deposit to be paid on day of booking

Additional 30% Deposit due:

  • Easter Bookings by 28 February
  • December / January Bookings by 31 October
  • Group Bookings: 30 days prior to arrival

Guests will be required to provide a credit card as security against incidentals during their stay.

 

Cancellations and Postponements:

Low and Mid seasons (excludes School Holidays and Long weekends)

Should you wish to cancel or postpone your booking and provided a notice period of 14 days is given, no cancellation fee will be applied, and your deposit will be refunded or transferred to a new booking. Cancellations and postponements with less than 14 days’ notice will forfeit the deposit paid, should the booking not be taken up by another guest. Deposits may be transferred to a new reservation at the operator’s discretion.

Unfortunately, refunds are not available for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather.

Mid Peak: July and September School Holidays

Should you wish to cancel or postpone your booking and provided a notice period of 30 days is given, no cancellation fee will be applied and your deposit will refunded or transferred to a new booking. Cancellations and postponements with less than 30 days’ notice will forfeit the deposit paid, should the booking not be taken up by another guest. Deposits may be transferred to a new reservation at the operator’s discretion.

Peak: December/January/Easter School Holidays and Group Bookings

Should you wish to cancel or postpone your booking and provided a notice period of 60 days is given, no cancellation fee will be applied, and your deposit will be refunded or transferred to a new booking. Cancellations and postponements with less than 60 days’ notice will forfeit the deposit paid, should the booking not be taken up by another guest. Deposits may be transferred to a new reservation at the operator’s discretion.

Check in: From 1.30pm to 6.00pm on the day of arrival. Sunday or Public Holiday check-ins may incur a surcharge. Prior arrangements must be made for late check-ins after 6pm

Check out: 9.30am on the day of departure

Minimum stays: Minimum 2 night stays allowed during Off-Peak unless agreed otherwise. Please note we have a minimum stay of 3 nights for these dates: October Long Weekend, Melbourne Cup Weekend; March Labour Day Weekend; June – Queen’s Birthday Weekend

Rates and GST: All rates are GST inclusive. The rates are a guide only, supercede previous rates and may be subject to change

Special Requests: Please advise when making a reservation if a complimentary cot, high chair or baby bath is required.

Cabin Allocations: Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate cabin preferences, specific cabin allocations are not guaranteed.

Maximum occupancy per cabin: The number of people accommodated in each unit must not exceed the number of beds available.
